color landscape photography in utah, usa, by Cody Cobb

Utah A photography project by Cody Cobb

Capturing moments of meditative contemplation amongst wild and natural landscapes, Cody Cobb reframes our vision of the American West.

“Living in the Pacific Northwest puts me close to such a diverse range of environments, I don’t have to travel far to find myself in deserts, mountains, rain forests or coastlines. I typically spent at least four or five-month out of the year traveling, usually living cheaply out of my car or backpacking in the wilderness.

I’m very much drawn to strange and remote locations. I love landscapes that appear to be from a distant planet. I’m also deeply fascinated by volcanoes and the landscapes that they create” – Cody Cobb
