    Loulou d’Aki is a Swedish documentary photographer who specializes on the influence of borders, the idea of freedom and how human beings are affected by the society in which they live.
    She has lived and worked around Europe, in North America, Quebec, in the Middle East and in Asia.

    Lou focuses on various long term projects, such as Make a Wish – a photo essay looking at how the dreams and aspirations of youngsters across the globe are conditioned by where they are born and the society in which they grow up.

    Over years of professional experience she has been published in top magazines such as Le Monde, Die Zeit, the New York Times, TIMES, NY Magazine, Internazionale…

    Besides publications and editorial assignments she has done work for UNICEF, the UN and exhibited in France, Italy, the Netherlands and Singapore.

    With such unique eye and broad experience we are deeply honoured to have her as this month’s Judge.
